Heritage

The Foundation's heritage is formed by several works, donated by artists close to the Casa dello Spirito e delle Arti, that help representing its spirit and mission. Like the Crucifix by Mimmo Paladino and the work "Kairos" by Pietro Coletta (which together form an ideal diptych: "Death and resurrection of Man" ); the composition "La Voce dei sommersi" by Ennio Morricone, inspired by the Lampedusa Cross.

The barbed wire strings Violin by Jannis Kounellis , the last artwork created by the great Greek artist to give voice to the condition of the people detained, to whom the musician Carlo Crivelli dedicated the composition "The Kounellis’ Violin".

The "Cristo Spezzato" by Mimmo Paladino

The artist Mimmo Paladino has donated his artwork "Cristo Spezzato(The Broken Christ) to support the "Il senso del Pane" project.

Here you can read the article about the artwork donated to Pope Francis by the italian artist.
